Katniss Everdeen and Gale Hawthorne trade with her often. She is fairly compassionate towards people and buys any wild dogs that are killed. However, Katniss and Gale are the only providers of fresh meat and will not kill wild dogs unless attacked by them, so she usually has to make due with some other slightly used meat.

After she had survived lived with her grandma. Katniss states that she is treated like a pet in the Hob and given extra scrap Greasy Sae aids District 13 by being a chef, and said the kitchen bored her. At the end of Mockingjay, she checks twice a day to make sure she eats. She brings her is also unknown what she did after needed her help. Peeta had come to live with her, and help from Greasy Sae and her granddaughter.
